Too busy for friend?

This is another forwarded message I received via email, that I wish I could take credit for but cannot. This is a wonderful story, that everyone should read and share.

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each name. Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each of
their classmates and write it down. It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a separate
sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that
individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire class
was smiling. 'Really?' she heard whispered. 'I never knew that I meant
anything to anyone!' and, 'I didn't know others liked me so much,' were most
of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The
exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with
themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet
Nam and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so handsome, so mature.. The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the coffin. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. 'Were you Mark's math teacher?' he asked. She nodded: 'yes.' Then he said: 'Mark talked about you a lot.'After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. 'We want to show you something,' his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket 'They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it.' Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times. The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about him. 'Thank you so much for doing that,' Mark's mother said. 'As you can see, Mark treasured it.' All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled rather sheepishly and said, 'I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home.' Chuck's wife said, 'Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album.' 'I have mine too,' Marilyn said. 'It's in my diary' Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. 'I carry this with me at all times,' Vicki said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: 'I think we all saved our lists' That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and for all his friends who would never see him again.

one day. And we don't know when that one day will
be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and
important. Tell them, before it is too late.

Another birthday up and gone, I'm now 37. It's been a while since my last blog post. You see, thanks to Facebook and Zynga, I have no life. LOL I play Mafia Wars, Vampire Wars, Cafe World, Bakery Life, and many others. Maybe when something big comes along again, I'll post here. In all seriousness, I do have a life. I am still helping Steel Magnolias breast cancer support group in Anniston, Alabama, as a historian.. I am also helping them with certain parts of their website, as needed. I have fully recovered from my surgery I had a year ago. My health is still the same, and I still remain at stage 3 kidney failure.

Zip Lining

Went zip lining today instead of helicopter ride, too windy to fly. I zip lined over 1500 ft. in the air. FUN FUN FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I basically felt like my heart was going to fall out of me, as I was zipping through the line. If you are not familiar with zip lining, it's the wildest ride you'll ever have in your life.

There were several towers, I chose the 1500 ft. one. I climbed A LOT of steps,just to get to the top of the tower that overlooked 1500 ft. of wilderness. This tour guide harnesses you in a long rope, safety hat, gloves, and other safety precautions. You then step up to the ledge, and the guide gives you the go a head. You push yourself off, and from there it's nothing but heart stopping thrill the whole way down to the ground.

Tribute to my Dell Dimension 3000

So long to my trusty Dell Dimension 3000, you served me well for the 5 years I used you. You will now serve the remainder of your life, as a functional typing machine. Never again will you be used as means to check my daily emails, Facebook messages, Twitter, blogs, and chats. I now move forward (without looking back) and make room for better things to amuse, entertain, and function for me. :)

Triops RIP

I unfortunately killed them all when I transferred them to the 5 gallon. But maybe this next batch will work. Only time will tell, this time I know for sure not to move them.

Day 7

I'm finally able to feed the Triops one whole pellet. Later this week they will get the blood worms as a treat, if they manage to eat the pellets twice a day. I'm very pleased with the results, and look forward to starting more Triop colonies in the future. Unfortunately, Triops have a short life span of 20 - 90 days. All I can say is they are wonderful little creatures, any aquarium hobbyist should have them in their collection. If I manage to get a picture of the Triops, I will and post on this blog and other social websites.

Day 6 - feeding once a day

I've noticed a significant increase in growth, there are now three 1/3 of inch size Triops in the baby tank. I'm continuing to feed them once a day, if successful by next week, I'll feed them blood worms twice a week. I admistered air flow in the tank via air tubing (air pump) for supplimental oxygen.

I fed the babies again today, I am still noticing the one big Triops that is larger than the rest. I am keeping a close eye on it, as he may be feasting on his siblings.
Meanwhile, I started a new colony of Triops in the permanent tank, only used about 20eggs this time. Hopefully these will be ready to mingle with the others in another week or so.

Day 4 - growing babies

I fed the Triops yesterday according to the instruction manual. I crushed one green, and brown pellet between two spoons, until they were very fine particles. Before I went to bed, I noticed I had atleast eight babies which meant more had hatched.

Today I am seeing the same, except I'm having to move the nutrient bag around the tank. They like to hide around the bag, makes it hard to see them. I am seeing one big fat one, and the rest are smaller. I just hope that one big one isn't eating them. Triops are known to eat the weakest.

I am supposed to skip feeding today, and resume feeding tomorrow.

I am also preparing a 1 gal. tank for the Sea-Monkeys arrival.

I noticed there are more tiny white dots with tails swimming about the little tank. That's wonderful news, atleast it shows me I did this right! I purchased two Sea-Monkeys kits, so I will do a blog for that as well. :-)

I woke up this morning to find tiny white creatures with tails swimming about in the container. They are so tiny, I have to use a magnifying glass to see them. So far there is about seven, hopefully more will hatch.

I finally set up the nursery Triops tank Saturday night. This morning I poured in the eggs. It's up to the next 48 hours, to determine wheither these will hatch or not. I keep finding myself checking the tank many times a day to check for little things squirming around. Hopefully by Tuesday I'll see one. I'm keeping a artificial light source over the tank to keep the temperature atleast 78 degrees F., they require this in order to hatch.

I have cleaned out my empty 20 gallon aquarium that I used many years ago as a marine tank. I am converting into a goldfish/freshwater tank. The Black Moors will occupy this, as well as the plecostomus (pleco), and the Algae Eater. I feel it's best if they move into a larger aquarium for more reasons than one. The Goldfish need more room to grow, the baby tank was too small for them and I was getting worried. Goldfish need a good sized aquarium in order to grow their full potential. Each Goldfish requires 10 gal. per fish or maybe more. I would like to put them in something bigger, but I don't have the resources at this present time for a larger tank.

I went and bought refill Triops' eggs incase the first batch fails. I will set up the Triops' nursery this weekend. Before I can do that, I have to finish moving the Goldfish into the 20 gal., and make sure their new home is perfect! Keeping fingers crossed, and pray to the Lord that this works! I will be happy, and so will the fish (hopefully)!

Setting Up

I'm contemplating either starting the Triops off with the tank that comes with the kit, or putting them in a 1 - 5 gallon aquarium. Whichever I choose it will be ample space for the babies to grow. I have the majority of the supplies, so all that needs to be done is setting up the tank.

I am well aware that out of the 30 - 50 eggs you get in the kit, only a few actually hatch. So no big deal!

Another thing to consider is the type of water to use. I've heard mixed suggestions of using dechlorinated tap, distilled tap, spring water, bottled water, water that is purified from a filter, and so on. I may try the boiled tap (dechlorinated) method first. If that does not work, I will try again.

I am thinking about getting a second tank for breeding purposes, yes I want to breed them. I will seperate the pregnant ones from the rest so they can have a proper hatching.

So until the kit is in my hands, I'll continue to research on the needs of Triops.

My Triops Project

I have decided to take on a project that I think would be cool. I might create another blog just specifically for that project or I may just post on this one. According to Wikipedia.com, "Members of the order Notostraca (colloquially referred to as notostracans, tadpole shrimp, shield shrimp or by the genus name Triops). Triops are small crustaceans in the class Branchiopoda."

Why did I choose this instead of the trade mark name Sea-Monkey? I did thorough research on the web, and decided that this was the easier of the two. Maybe later I will purchase a Sea-Monkey kit. I never had tried Sea-Monkeys nor Triops as a child so this is something I always wanted to do, nevermind the fact that I have an aquarium full of fish! Which I will still continue as my pet project also!

According to Wikipedia.com, "Sea-Monkeys are a variant of brine shrimp or Artemia salina, a species which enters cryptobiosis, a natural state of suspended animation, allowing their cysts (dormant saclike embryos) to be sold as a dry powder."

I will blog my progress as soon as I get the shipment in the mail, on here and on the specific blog I choose.

I welcome anyones suggestions and comments about both Sea-Monkeys and Triops, as I am open to both.

My PS3 disc of Final Fantasy XIII was delivered today, I was not home as I had a doctor's appointment this morning. My blood pressure (BP) was rather low (well I would rather have it low than high), and my problems all week were a combination of optical migraines plus sinus issues. When I say optical, I mean like seeing halos around lights, and light sensitivity along with bouts of nausea. Low BP was making me very sleepy for the past couple of weeks or so. My physician adjusted meds accordingly put me on a new BP med, and put me on an antibiotic for the sinus issues still bothering me.

As I'm typing this post Boo (my solid white cat) is sleeping behind the fish aquarium. She's been really interested all week in watching my fish. She cannot get to them because the aquarium hood is covering the opening to the tank. If she tries to open it she will get a dirty look from me! Also my other cats Smokey and George keeps watching them too. I had to arrange to put my Betta fish bowl elsewhere out of reach of prying paws, so somewhere safe where the felines can't reach! When one does something, the other learns and follows!

We change our clocks tomorrow (Saturday, March 14th). It's that time of the year again for Daylight Savings, here we change time ahead one hour.

Happy Birthday to my babies: my solid white cat Boo, and my Chihuahuas Lucy & Ricky. They are all 1 year young as of today!

This is the question that came to mind in a dream that I had overnight. I believe it was a message, for me to pass on to people today.

How do you know you're actually saved?

The answer is..

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

That was taken from a verse Acts 16:31 from King James Version of the Bible.

If we believe in the Lord, we will be saved. We will not perish in the lake of fire, and we will be with Him in paradise forever and ever! Believe and you will be saved, pray to the Father, and end in prayer in Christ name I pray AMEN.

I know most of you have your own opinions about beliefs, and I have mine. This is my blog, and that was my dream!

My copy of Final Fantasy XIII shipped today, I should be getting it someday later this week or next. I got it for the PS3 mainly because of the blu-ray sharpness! I have waited about 5 years to play this game, finally the wait is almost over!

I took a break after a day of paper work, to watch a movie that's worth mentioning in this blog. It's called 2012, and it's another one of those disaster type flicks. It's also known as a cataclysmic type movie, where the ancient Mayan calender ends December 21, 2012. So I need to stop here, if I don't I will spoil it. Some of you may not have seen it yet. PS3 bug

The only thing worth mentioning is the PS3 bug, which reminds me of the Y2K bug that people were so hyped about and never happened. The PS3 bug, did happen and crippled many PS3 systems around the world on March 1st. I opted not to turn my on that day, so we'll see what happens later today when I turn the thing on. Final Fantasy XIII is releasing next week, so I hope mine will be up and running for that. YAY!

Update!
After I posted this blog, I decided to check it out. So mine was one of the ones, as it showed today was still March 1. That meant to the PS3 it was Feb. 29 yesterday. So I updated the time via the internet, and problem solved for now date is where it should be as March 2, 2010. Hopefully Sony will release an update patch to finally resolve this issue.

Whenever you buy aquarium fish from a store like PetSmart, Walmart, or any well known retailer, remember to hold the fish bag up above the sensors when leaving the store. If you don't the scanner may shock the fish and kill them. I was told this, this morning when I purchased a couple of fish. Now had I have known that, I would not have had go back to the place I bought the fish from, and buy new aquarium fish! So why is it that retailers like the above mentioned have sensors that could potentially kill them? Why not replace them with sensors that don't kill them? Makes me wonder what it does to our brains when we walk through or underneath them?

That's my opinion!

Steel Magnolias breast cancer support group celebrated the grand opening of Pinks Closet in Anniston, Alabama. This service provides those who are undergoing chemotherapy and had breast cancer surgery with: wigs, hats, scarves, breast prostheses, post-surgery care packages, etc. This closet is located at (RMC) Regional Medical Center's Physician Center, Cancer Research Center.

Roswitha Sparks Weaver, Alabama's Post Master provided the idea for the Pink Magnolia which provided the idea for naming the closet, "Pinks Closet."

A sealed envelope - Put in the freezer for a few hours, then slide a
knife under the flap. The envelope can then be resealed.

Use Empty toilet paper roll to store appliance cords. It keeps them
neat and you can write on the roll what appliance it belongs to.

For icy door steps in freezing temperatures: get warm water and put
Dawn dish washing liquid in it. Pour it all over the steps. They won't

To remove old wax from a glass candle holder, put it in the freezer for

wax will fall out.

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

Dear Dogs and Cats: The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack. Racing me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help because I fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed.. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure your comfort, however. Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they sleep. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other, stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out on the other end to maximize space is nothing but sarcasm..

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom! If, by some miracle, I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw under the edge in an attempt to open the door. I must exit through the same door I entered. Also, I have been using the bathroom for years - canine/feline attendance is not required.

The proper order for kissing is: Kiss me first, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt. I cannot stress this enough.

Finally, in fairness, dear pets, I have posted the following message on the front door:

TO ALL NON-PET OWNERS WHO VISIT AND LIKE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR PETS:

(1) They live here. You don't.
(2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture.

(4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted sons/daughters who are short, hairy, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

I started playing Civilization: Revolution, it's a game like Risk. How long you play depends on how many cities you take over, researching, wars, etc. I'm on the year 2074 A.D. as of tonight, so hopefully I'll keep on fighting to win eventually. My next games to play is Bioshock 2, Tropico 3, and Final Fantasy XIII. I will certainly be busy with lots of games to play within the upcoming months. I am also looking forward to Fallout: New Vegas whenever it is scheduled to be released later this year or next year. I play other games like Little Big Planet, Halo, and many others.

I have to say Walmart is one of my favorite stores to shop at online and offline retail shopping. When I go to Walmart you have a specific list in mind like for groceries for recipes and such. I always end up leaving the store with more than food, meaning I end up buying more than I should! I end up spending $$$ on groceries, dvds, and other items. It's one big impulse shopper's paradise!

Just like Christmas where I watch A Christmas Story, I make it a tradition every year to watch the movie Groundhog Day in celebration of the yearly event. This is my opinion, and only my opinion. You are entitled to yours as well as I'm entitled to mine. Take it as you may!

If this is a true story it has me thinking a bit skeptic. I know there are some things in this world that are "unexplained," but this just seemed a bit like a paranormal mockumentary. Meaning it's just to entertain, nothing real about it and take it as a hoax. A good example is The Blair Witch Project, which had everyone thinking at first it was true (of course it was fake), then when you watch it you could tell it was staged! However, I must say I really enjoyed both Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity, despite it being to "entertain" me. Which basically is what I treated it as, I do have an open mind when it comes to the paranormal and this I believe is just a horror flick to scare you "old school" style! Hey some of the best classic horror films scared the bejeevers out of you, and they were old school! 5 out of 5 stars I gave this!

This is my opinion on this movie!

I watched, The Final Destination this afternoon. The death scenes in all three films are funny, eventhough they all died horrible deaths. Each movie from this series just keeps getting better everytime I watch them! They basically take your worst fears and cause individual tragedies, that will make you observant of your surroundings! Interesting how something you do could cause chain reactions that can start a domino effect. The end result could cause someone's final demise!

My opinion about sodium

Many people don't think of what they eat is high in salt. But look on the nutrition labels on the back of your food, beverages, snacks, mix, packages/boxes/etc. and you will see many contain high amounts of sodium. Salt is a natural preservative, but too much salt in our foods can eventually lead to many health issues later in life (blood pressure, out of control diabetes, fluid retention, weight gain, high cholesterol, etc.). What this country needs is for the food and beverage companies, dine in/fast food restaurants to cut down on the sodium and trans-fats. If they do this, there wouldn't be such a problem with the recent obesity problem in America. I believe that sodium intake adds it on. That is my opinion. The last one I attended was around the late 80s, so this was a big change from the previous! I have finally recovered from the surgery I had in July, after which I started the menopausal symptoms. I kind of was hit hard with them at first, and so from there I saw my OB/GYN and was put on this Vivelle dot patch. This is a form of estrogen therapy that replaces any that was lost since hysterectomy. I have found that the worst symptom of menopause is not the hot flashes, it's the cold flashes! Here I was walking around in the HOT summer with a blanket while everyone else was sweltering from the humidity. I was downright freezing! So when I started the patch, it basically took care of those. I still experience the hot flashes, and they are bothersome but not as bad as the other.

I was pictured Anniston Star's community section on Saturday September 5th, the article is about the local breast cancer support group Steel Magnolias. It located in Anniston, Alabama at Regional Medical Center (RMC), I am a co-historian for this group. We travelled to the capital (Montgomery) here in Alabama on July 24th, upon which we witnessed a ceremonial signing of HB147 from the governor Bob Riley. The signing was to close a loophole in Alabama's Medicaid Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment's Act. So this is my first post since I've returned. I may not be posting much on Blogger/Blogspot since I'm recovering from having a total hysterectomy. Yep you read right, I had everything removed: ovaries, uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, etc. I've been having problems for quite a long time, I've had several laparoscopic procedures to take out endometriosis that was not successful. I've taken many forms of birth control like Seasonale and Lybrel, and eventually stop working. I was at my last straw, I decided along with my obgyn it was time to have the surgery. I don't and will never regret ever making this decision. I'm just happy to know I'll eventually be free from horrid cramping and heavy bleeding, free from endometriosis, free from ovarian cysts.

So now I move on and wonder when will my first menopause symptoms will show? I've been told it could take days to weeks before I begin menopause. I've decided to not take the ERT hormone as I will just try to put up with the hot flashes, night sweats, cold flashes, in my own way. I don't need the help of a hormone replacement to carry me through menopause, lots of women over the age of 50 go through menopause and not need a thing.

So now I'm entering the change of life! I'm 35, but I'm starting to feel more like 50!

I got an iphone recently, it's one of the latest models that Apple released. Sweet. Now I can send e-mails, txt messeges, and watch Youtube videos when I get bored in the waiting rooms to see a doctor.

This is my last post because of major surgery, hopefully this time my potassium isn't so low. When I'm back on I'll post updates.

Seniors on a road trip

While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant, and resumed their trip. When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table, and she didn't miss them until they had been driving for about forty minutes. By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around, in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.

All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained, and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up for a single minute. To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As the woman got out of the car, and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old geezer yelled to her, “While you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card.”

This coming week is National Senior Mental Health Week. You can do your part by remembering to contact at least one unstable Senior to show you care.

In a post I blogged on May 19th, I said I was having major surgery. Well the week before the surgery I injured my left foot. I lost balance while on a stepping stool hit the floor hard with my feet, and thought I had sprained it later that day. My foot swelled like a balloon, not to mention redness and almost high fever. I didn't know at the time it was broken, I doubled up on a diuretic that I take for CKD thinking it would take away the edema. Well the next morning I was worse! I couldn't even walk. I made an appointment with a doctor that was on call, and from there I went to the ER had a x-ray done. The x-ray showed something suspicious around the 4th and 5th toe bones. This crack was so small that there is nothing you can do, all that was prescribed was pain pills and an aircast! GREAT! So Monday morning came (the day of my surgery), went to the hospital they took some blood work while prepping me. The lab tech came back about 30 min. later and said my potassium levels were very low. So because of that I couldn't be put under general anesthesia that day, and the type of surgery I am to have requires general anesthesia. All this because I doubled up on my diuretic. So I was discharged, sent home with orders to take 8 potassium caplets twice a day, I was not a happy camper! I have since filled up everyday on cantelopes, bananas, tomatoes, plums, cherries, juices, anything with lots of potassium. So a couple of weeks later, my potassium is back to noraml. I have since rescheduled my surgery. I have a dvr full of movies, which I'm saving until I am home from the hospital, so that should keep me well entertained. I've rearranged my dvds so that they will be easily within reach without bending for after my surgery. Also, my foot is starting to get better. I can at least walk a little better without the aide of a walker or cane, but I'm still limping! I look at it this way, it was God's will for me not to have the surgery that day! Thus has given me more time to prepare for when I have it and come home from hospital.

I have renamed my new kitten Boo instead of Moonlight, either Boo or Boo Bear both are cute names for her. She is now able to roam freely throughout the house, she's in learning stages so I have to keep a watchful eye on her on the times she is out of her room.

I pre-orderd A Haunting In Connecticut movie, and The Lucy Show: season 1. Since I have a passion for supernatural movies, I felt the need to purchase A Haunting In Connecticut. Also I enjoyed The Lucy Show series, so am happy it's finally being released on dvd. I hope the rest of the series will be released also!

Well that's it for the updates. I'll continue to update if needed until my surgery date, hopefully this time no problems. Keep me in your prayers!

I need to start preparing, as I will have a long recovery (up to 8 weeks) after the surgery.

Her name is Boo, because she loves to scare me when I least expect! She is a solid white long haired cat, and has one blue eye and one green/blue/hazel eye and is not deaf! She hears everything that goes on in the house including me when I'm walking down the hall to go into my bedroom. She is very sweet to hold, fun to play with, and so full of energy and life. She was born on March 14, 2009. She is sooooo tiny that she can fit in a shoe.

Below is a picture of Boo with her other kitty siblings before I took her home on Friday. Both Boo, and Molly (the beige looking one are 6 weeks old), the tabby (Mojo aka Socks) is 7 weeks. My sister got Molly and Mojo, and she kept my Moonlight at her place until I could get there to pick it up.

According to an article I read this morning the First dog (Bo) got the star treatment into the White House on Tuesday, the dog will even have it's own sleeping arrangements. Everyone in the family will have to take their own turns walking the dog, that includes President Obama.

Michelle Obama better be protecting her tomato garden, as Bo's breed (Portuguese Water dog) loves tomatoes!

Tom Braden author of Eight Is Enough dies

I enjoyed reading his book Eight Is Enough decades ago. I really enjoyed watching Eight Is Enough series that he wrote and based on his book. Tom Braden was a father of 8 children, and thus wrote a book about his family and it became television series from the 70s and 80s. He later became creator and co-host of Crossfire.

Fallout 3 dlc for PS3 please!!!!

SPOILER ALERT!

If you have just purchased Fallout 3 and are beginning to play this game, don't read any further as there are spoilers in this post!

I've already beat the Fallout 3 game for the PS3 (Playstation 3), but I want more. The Xbox360 gets dlc (downloable content) for extra add-ons, so why can't the PS3 get it? The Xbox360 will have the updates that removes the level cap, and they will have the expansion packs that give them more gameplay hours. Anyone who has played and beat Fallout 3 on the ps3 knows that once you get to level 20 there are no more perks, leveling up, nothing. Also once you beat the game with the PS3 version there is no returning to the game unless you load a previous save before the ending. I've heard Fallout 3 does have multiple endings, but why can't we have the level cap removed, and why can't we have the same benefits as Xbox 360 with the expansion packs and infinite play? Once you've completed the maximum levels there's no reason to play further if all you are doing is playing for perks.

So I suppose maybe we will get the goty version (game of the year) edition. The game of the year edition may have all the expansion packs that the 360 has, and the removal of level cap. Would make sense to save it for the goty!

I would certainly replay the game to visit the expansions, and get more levels I didn't get before in my first playthrough.

An old, white haired man walked into a jewelry store one
Friday evening with a beautiful young gal at his side.

He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for
his girlfriend. The jeweler looked through his stock and
brought out a $5,000 ring. The old man said, 'No, I'd like to
see something more special.'

At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock
and brought another ring over. Here's a stunning ring at
only $40,000' the jeweler said.

The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled
with excitement. The old man seeing this said, 'We'll take
it.'

The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man
stated, 'By check. I know you need to make sure my check is
good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify
the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon,' he said.

Monday morning, the jeweler phoned the old man.

'There's no money in that account.'

'I know,' said the old man, 'But let me tell you about my weekend!'
